- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook spaghetti until al dente.
- Cook chopped bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy.
- Add minced garlic and sauté briefly until fragrant.
- Whisk eggs, Parmesan, and black pepper in a bowl.
- Reserve pasta water, then drain spaghetti.
- Add hot pasta to skillet and remove from heat.
- Pour egg mixture over pasta while tossing continuously.
- Add reserved pasta water gradually until creamy.
- Serve immediately with extra cheese and parsley.
Notes
Use freshly grated cheese and remove pan from heat before adding eggs to avoid scrambling.
