Ingredients
  

Float Base
  • 2 cups lemon-lime soda chilled
  • 2 tbsp grenadine syrup
  • 3 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 cup whipped cream for topping
  • 2 maraschino cherries for garnish

Equipment

  • Tall soda glasses
  • Ice cream scoop
  • Long spoon
  • Straw

Method
 

  1. Pour chilled lemon-lime soda into tall glasses, filling halfway.
  2. Slowly add grenadine and allow it to settle at the bottom.
  3. Gently place scoops of vanilla ice cream into the soda.
  4. Top with whipped cream and garnish with maraschino cherries.
  5. Serve immediately with a straw and spoon.

Notes

Use clear glasses for best layered effect. Serve immediately for maximum fizz.
