Ingredients
  

Stew Base
  • 2.5 lbs chicken pieces bone-in preferred
  • 1 tbsp browning sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 large onion sliced
  • 1 large bell pepper sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup chicken stock

Equipment

  • Large Pot or Dutch Oven
  • Cutting board
  • Sharp knife
  • Wooden spoon

Method
 

  1. Season chicken thoroughly and marinate.
  2. Brown chicken in oil and brown sugar mixture.
  3. Sauté vegetables in same pot.
  4. Return chicken, add liquids, and simmer until tender.
