- Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute.
- Gradually whisk in milk until smooth.
- Simmer until thickened, 3–5 minutes.
- Stir in cream, Parmesan, salt, pepper, and seasoning.
- Remove from heat and cool slightly before using.
Notes
Sauce thickens as it cools; thin with milk if needed.
