Cocoa Base
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 0.25 cup white chocolate finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar adjust to taste
  • 0.5 tsp orange zest fresh
  • 0.25 tsp almond extract
  • 1 pinch salt

Method
 

  1. Heat milk in a saucepan over medium-low heat until warm but not boiling.
  2. Add white chocolate and whisk until fully melted and smooth.
  3. Whisk in cocoa powder and sugar until combined.
  4. Add orange zest, almond extract, and salt. Stir gently for 1–2 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and pour into mugs. Garnish as desired and serve warm.
