Viral Baked Feta Pasta

A creamy roasted tomato and feta pasta made in one baking dish with minimal effort and maximum flavor.

Ingredients
  

Main
  • 8 oz pasta
  • 7-8 oz block feta cheese
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 0.25 cup olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 0.5 tsp chili flakes optional
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • fresh basil for garnish

Equipment

  • Baking dish
  • Pot for pasta
  • Strainer
  • Mixing spoon

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Add tomatoes to baking dish, drizzle with olive oil and seasonings.
  3. Place feta block in the center and drizzle with olive oil.
  4. Bake 30–35 minutes until tomatoes burst and feta softens.
  5. Cook pasta until al dente, reserving some pasta water.
  6. Mash feta and tomatoes together into a sauce.
  7. Add pasta and toss, using reserved water if needed.
  8. Garnish with basil and serve.

Notes

Use block feta for best creaminess and flavor.
