Ingredients
  

Noodles
  • 8 oz spaghetti or noodles of choice
  • 4-5 cloves garlic finely minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce or tamari
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Equipment

  • Large pot
  • Skillet or wok
  • Colander
  • Tongs

Method
 

  1. Boil salted water and cook noodles until al dente. Reserve 1/4 cup pasta water, then drain.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and sauté 30–60 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Stir in soy sauce and sesame oil.
  5. Add cooked noodles and toss well, adding reserved pasta water if needed.
  6. Serve immediately with optional garnish.

Notes

Add chili flakes, vegetables, or tofu for variations.
