Method
- Pat mozzarella sticks dry and set aside.
- Set up breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumb mixture.
- Coat each stick in flour, egg, breadcrumbs, then repeat egg and breadcrumbs.
- Freeze breaded sticks for at least 60 minutes.
- Heat oil to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry sticks for 1–2 minutes until golden brown.
- Drain and serve immediately with marinara sauce.
Notes
Freezing is essential to prevent cheese from leaking during frying.
