Ingredients
  

Ranch Base
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 0.5 cup sour cream
  • 0.5 cup buttermilk adjust for desired consistency
Seasonings
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp dried dill
  • 0.5 tsp dried parsley
  • 0.5 tsp dried chives
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • to taste salt and black pepper

Method
 

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, and buttermilk until smooth.
  2. Add garlic powder, onion powder, dried dill, parsley, and chives. Mix thoroughly.
  3. Incorporate lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Adjust seasoning to taste.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving. Adjust consistency with additional buttermilk if desired.
  5. Serve as a salad dressing, dip, or sauce. Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.

Notes

For an extra fresh flavor, use fresh chopped herbs instead of dried. Adjust thickness based on intended use: dip or dressing.
