Ingredients
  

Slaw Base
  • 3 cups green cabbage shredded
  • 2 cups red cabbage shredded
  • 1 cup carrots grated
  • 1 apple julienned
  • 0.5 cup dried cranberries
  • 0.5 cup pecans or walnuts toasted
Dressing
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl, combine green cabbage, red cabbage, and carrots.
  2. Add apple slices, dried cranberries, and toasted nuts.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, honey, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour dressing over slaw and toss until evenly coated.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
  6. Chill for 20 minutes before serving.

Notes

Can be made up to 24 hours ahead. Stir well before serving.
