Ingredients
  

Bread Dough
  • 3.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2.25 tsp instant yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
Garlic Herb Filling
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh herbs rosemary or thyme
Cheese Layer
  • 1.5 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese grated

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast until foamy.
  2. Add flour, salt, and oil; knead until smooth.
  3. Let dough rise until doubled in size.
  4. Prepare garlic herb butter and set aside.
  5. Roll dough, spread filling, add cheese.
  6. Roll, slice, twist, and place in pan.
  7. Bake at 375°F until golden.

Notes

Allow bread to cool slightly before slicing for best swirl definition.
