- Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned and crispy, breaking it apart with a spoon.
- Add chopped onion and cook for 2 minutes until softened. Add garlic and ginger and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in soy sauce, gochujang, brown sugar, rice vinegar, and black pepper until evenly coated.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 4–6 minutes until sauce thickens and becomes glossy.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds and stir. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Serve immediately over rice, noodles, or lettuce wraps. Garnish with sliced green onions.
