Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 4 pieces bone-in chicken thighs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp onion powder
Gravy
  • 1 large yellow onion sliced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream optional

Method
 

  1. Season and dredge chicken lightly in flour.
  2. Sear chicken until golden brown on both sides.
  3. Sauté onions until caramelized and add garlic.
  4. Create roux with flour and add broth to form gravy.
  5. Return chicken to skillet and simmer until tender.

Notes

Serve over mashed potatoes or rice for best results.
