  • 4 pork chops bone-in or boneless
  • 4 potatoes thinly sliced
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 cups milk or cream
  • 0.5 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Season and sear pork chops until lightly browned.
  3. Cook onions and garlic, then stir in flour, milk, and broth to make sauce.
  4. Layer potatoes, pork chops, and sauce in the baking dish.
  5. Cover and bake for 45 minutes, then uncover and bake until golden.
