- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil.
- Toast bread for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crisp. Cool completely.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, lemon zest, lemon juice, dill, and chives until smooth.
- Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over toasted baguette slices.
- Top each crostini with folded smoked salmon.
- Garnish with capers and cracked black pepper. Serve immediately.
