- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a small baking pan with parchment paper.
- Whisk melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add egg and vanilla extract, whisking until glossy.
- Fold in cocoa powder, flour, and salt until just combined.
- Stir in chocolate chips and spread batter evenly in pan.
- Bake for 16–20 minutes until edges are set and center is slightly soft.
- Cool completely before slicing for best texture.
Notes
For extra fudginess, slightly underbake and allow brownies to set as they cool.
