Ingredients
  

Noodles
  • 12 oz lo mein noodles
Shrimp & Vegetables
  • 1 lb shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup carrots julienned
  • 1 cup cabbage shredded
  • 1 bell pepper sliced
  • 3 scallions sliced
Sauce
  • 0.25 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tsp ginger grated

  • Wok or Large Skillet
  • Mixing bowls

Method
 

  1. Cook lo mein noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  2. Mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water to form the sauce.
  3. Cook shrimp in a hot oiled pan until just pink, then remove.
  4. Sauté garlic and ginger, then add vegetables and stir-fry briefly.
  5. Add noodles and sauce, tossing to coat evenly.
  6. Return shrimp to pan, toss with scallions, and serve hot.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh but reheats well with a splash of water.
