Chicken
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese whole milk
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Sear chicken in a hot skillet with olive oil for 2–3 minutes per side.
  4. Transfer chicken to baking dish.
  5. Mix ricotta, Parmesan, garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  6. Spread ricotta mixture evenly over chicken.
  7. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
  8. Broil for 2–3 minutes for a golden top if desired.

Notes

Use whole-milk ricotta for best texture and flavor.
