Method
- Prepare cranberries and pineapple, zest the orange.
- Combine cranberries, pineapple, sugar, water, orange juice, zest, cinnamon, and salt in a medium saucepan.
- Heat over medium until mixture bubbles, stirring occasionally.
- Reduce heat and simmer 15–20 minutes until cranberries pop and sauce thickens.
- Taste and adjust sweetness; add water if too thick.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly; sauce will thicken further.
- Serve warm or chilled; store in airtight container.
