  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 0.75 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder

Method
 

  1. Pat chicken breasts dry and season evenly.
  2. Heat oil in skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear chicken 5–6 minutes without moving.
  4. Flip chicken, add butter, and reduce heat.
  5. Cook until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  6. Rest chicken 5 minutes before serving.
