Ingredients
  

Steak and Potatoes
  • 2 boneless steaks sirloin or ribeye
  • 1.5 lb baby potatoes halved
  • 0.75 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 tbsp olive oil divided
  • 2 tsp garlic powder divided
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • 0.5 tsp smoked paprika
  • salt and black pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Toss potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, rosemary, salt, and pepper. Spread on one side of the sheet pan.
  3. Roast potatoes for 15 minutes, then remove pan and flip them.
  4. Mix Parmesan, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  5. Coat steaks with olive oil, then press Parmesan mixture onto both sides.
  6. Place steaks on the other side of the pan and return to oven.
  7. Roast 12–15 minutes until desired doneness, broiling briefly for extra crust.
  8. Rest steaks 5 minutes before serving with potatoes.

Notes

Let steaks rest before slicing to keep them juicy.
