Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
- Cook sausage in a skillet until browned. Drain and set aside.
- Whisk dry ingredients together in a large bowl.
- Whisk milk, eggs, butter, and vanilla in another bowl.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Fold cooked sausage into the batter.
- Pour batter into baking dish and drizzle with maple syrup.
- Bake 30–35 minutes until golden and set. Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Serve warm with extra maple syrup or fresh fruit.
