  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 0.5 tsp cinnamon
  • 0.25 tsp vanilla extract optional
  • 1 pinch salt

Method
 

  1. Slice bananas into 1/2-inch rounds.
  2. Melt butter in skillet over medium heat.
  3. Stir in brown sugar and cinnamon until bubbling.
  4. Add bananas in a single layer and cook 2–3 minutes.
  5. Flip gently and cook another 1–2 minutes until golden.
  6. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla, and serve warm.

Notes

Best served immediately. Use firm ripe bananas for best texture.
