Ingredients
  

Crust
  • 2 cups chocolate sandwich cookie crumbs
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted
Chocolate Filling
  • 1.5 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 0.75 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Coconut Pecan Topping
  • 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
  • 0.75 cup chopped pecans
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream
  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Combine cookie crumbs and melted butter. Press into a pie dish and refrigerate.
  2. Melt chocolate chips until smooth and let cool slightly.
  3. Whip heavy cream to stiff peaks and set aside.
  4. Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Mix melted chocolate into cream cheese mixture, then fold in whipped cream.
  6. Spread filling over crust and refrigerate.
  7. Cook butter, brown sugar, and cream until slightly thickened. Stir in coconut, pecans, and vanilla.
  8. Cool topping, spread over pie, and chill at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

Chill overnight for best texture and clean slices.
