Method
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Sauté shallots in butter and olive oil until soft and lightly caramelized.
- Add mushrooms and cook until golden and moisture evaporates.
- Mix goat cheese with herbs until smooth.
- Cut puff pastry and score borders.
- Spread goat cheese, top with mushrooms, brush edges with egg wash.
- Bake 18–22 minutes until golden and puffed.
Notes
Serve warm or room temperature. Can be made ahead and reheated.
