Ingredients
  

Meat Sauce
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 0.5 lb Italian sausage
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
Creamy Layer
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 0.5 cup sour cream
  • 1 egg
Assembly
  • 12 lasagna noodles cooked
  • 3 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese grated

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Cook lasagna noodles until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. Brown beef and sausage with onion and garlic. Stir in marinara and simmer.
  4. Mix cream cheese, ricotta, sour cream, and egg until smooth.
  5. Layer sauce, noodles, cheese mixture, and shredded cheese.
  6. Repeat layers and finish with cheese on top.
  7. Bake covered 30 minutes, uncover and bake 20 more until bubbly.
  8. Rest 15 minutes before serving.
