Ingredients
  

Brownie Batter
  • 4 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil or melted butter
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp chocolate chips optional

Equipment

  • Microwave-safe mug
  • Fork or spoon

Method
 

  1. Add all dry ingredients to a microwave-safe mug and mix well.
  2. Stir in milk, oil or butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Fold in chocolate chips if using.
  4. Microwave on high for 60–90 seconds until just set.
  5. Let rest briefly before serving.

Notes

Do not overcook; the center should be slightly soft for best texture.
