Ingredients
  

Chicken Marinade
  • 1.5 lbs chicken breasts or thighs sliced
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 0.5 tsp salt
Creamy Feta Tzatziki
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 0.5 cup feta cheese crumbled
  • 0.5 cucumber grated

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Combine marinade ingredients and coat chicken. Refrigerate 30 minutes.
  2. Mix tzatziki ingredients until smooth. Chill until ready to use.
  3. Cook chicken in hot skillet 4–5 minutes per side until fully cooked.
  4. Warm pita bread until soft and pliable.
  5. Assemble gyros with chicken, vegetables, and creamy feta tzatziki.

Notes

For best flavor, marinate chicken up to 4 hours. Drain cucumber well before mixing tzatziki.
