- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Spread fries in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for 18–22 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Cook bacon in a skillet until crispy. Drain on paper towels and chop into small pieces.
- Transfer cooked fries to a baking dish or sheet. Sprinkle shredded cheddar evenly over fries.
- Add bacon pieces on top of the cheese layer.
- Return to oven for 2–3 minutes until cheese melts.
- Mix sour cream, mayonnaise, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Add a splash of milk if needed to thin.
- Drizzle sauce over loaded fries. Garnish with green onions and serve immediately.
Notes
For extra flavor, add jalapeños, diced tomatoes, or hot sauce. Use thick-cut fries for best texture.
