Lemon Brownies
  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1.75 cups granulated sugar
  • 3 eggs large
  • 2 tbsp lemon zest fresh
  • 0.25 cup lemon juice fresh
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
Lemon Glaze
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2-3 tbsp lemon juice fresh

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk melted butter and sugar until smooth.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well.
  4. Stir in lemon zest, lemon juice, and vanilla.
  5. Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt separately.
  6. Fold dry ingredients into wet mixture.
  7. Spread batter into prepared pan.
  8. Bake 22–28 minutes until center is set.
  9. Cool completely before glazing.
  10. Mix powdered sugar and lemon juice; spread over brownies.

Notes

Use fresh lemons for best flavor. Do not overbake to maintain fudgy texture.
