Method
- Pat steaks dry and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Let rest 10 minutes.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Sear steaks 3–4 minutes per side for medium-rare. Remove and rest 5 minutes.
- Lower heat to medium and melt butter in the same skillet.
- Add minced garlic and cook 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in beef broth and scrape browned bits, then add heavy cream, Dijon, and Worcestershire.
- Simmer 2–3 minutes until sauce thickens. Stir in parsley and optional lemon juice.
- Serve steak topped with creamy garlic sauce and garnish with parsley.
Notes
Rest steak after cooking to keep juices inside. Use a hot skillet for the best sear.
