Ingredients
  

Kafta Mixture
  • 1 lb ground beef 80–85% lean
  • 1 medium onion finely chopped and squeezed
  • 0.5 cup fresh parsley chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp allspice
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 0.5 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix gently until just combined.
  2. Cover and refrigerate for 20–30 minutes.
  3. Shape mixture onto skewers.
  4. Preheat grill to medium-high and oil grates.
  5. Grill kafta 8–10 minutes, turning regularly, until cooked through.
  6. Rest briefly and serve warm.

Notes

Serve with pita, garlic sauce, and salad for an authentic Lebanese meal.
