Ingredients
  

Pasta Salad
  • 12 oz bow tie pasta
  • 1.5 cups cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1 cup mozzarella pearls
  • 0.75 cup black olives sliced
  • 0.33 cup red onion diced
  • 0.25 cup fresh basil chopped
Dressing
  • 0.33 cup olive oil
  • 3 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and cool.
  2. Whisk olive oil, vinegar, garlic, seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Combine pasta with vegetables, cheese, and basil.
  4. Pour dressing over salad and toss gently.
  5. Chill for 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

Tastes best after chilling and can be customized with proteins or vegetables.
