Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 lb pork tenderloin
  • 0.25 cup honey
  • 0.25 cup hoisin sauce
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger grated
  • 1 tsp five-spice powder
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar

Method
 

  1. Whisk all marinade ingredients together in a bowl.
  2. Marinate pork for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  3. Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C).
  4. Roast pork on wire rack for 18–22 minutes, basting once.
  5. Broil 3–5 minutes until caramelized.
  6. Rest, slice, garnish, and serve.

Notes

Broiling at the end creates the signature sticky char siu glaze.
