Ingredients
  

Pasta
  • 250 g penne or fettuccine
Chicken
  • 2 chicken breasts boneless skinless
  • 1.5 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 0.5 tsp smoked paprika optional
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
Sauce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.75 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 0.5 cup chicken broth
  • 1 bell pepper sliced optional
  • 2 tbsp parsley chopped garnish

Equipment

  • Pot for boiling pasta

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, reserve pasta water and drain.
  2. Season chicken with Cajun seasoning, paprika, and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in skillet and sear chicken until cooked through, then rest and slice.
  4. Add butter, garlic, and bell pepper to skillet and sauté briefly.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and simmer.
  6. Add cream and cook until slightly thickened.
  7. Stir in Parmesan until smooth.
  8. Add pasta and toss to coat, adjusting with pasta water if needed.
  9. Top with sliced chicken, garnish with parsley, and serve.

Notes

Adjust Cajun seasoning for spice preference.
