Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2.25 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
Topping
  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 2 cloves garlic minced

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Baking sheet
  • Wire rack
  • Hand mixer or stand mixer

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit until foamy.
  3. Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Knead into a soft dough.
  4. Let dough rise until doubled, then roll into a rectangle.
  5. Brush with garlic butter and sprinkle with cheese.
  6. Bake until golden and cheese is bubbly. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

Best served fresh but reheats well in the oven.
