  • 12 oz cream cheese softened
Cranberry Topping
  • 12 oz fresh cranberries
  • 0.75 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 jalapeños seeded and chopped
  • 2 green onions chopped
  • 0.25 cup fresh cilantro chopped
  • 1 tbsp lime juice fresh
  • 0.25 tsp salt

Method
 

  1. Combine cranberries, sugar, jalapeños, green onions, cilantro, lime juice, and salt in a food processor. Pulse until finely chopped.
  2. Transfer mixture to a bowl, cover, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  3. Spread softened cream cheese evenly onto a serving plate or shallow bowl.
  4. Spoon chilled cranberry mixture evenly over the cream cheese layer.
  5. Garnish as desired and serve chilled with crackers or chips.

Notes

Adjust jalapeño seeds for desired spice level. Best served chilled.
