  • 3 apples firm variety
  • 6 slices prosciutto thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme optional
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper freshly cracked

Equipment

  • Grill or grill pan
  • Tongs
  • Knife
  • Cutting board

Method
 

  1. Preheat grill or grill pan to medium heat and lightly oil grates.
  2. Slice apples into thick wedges or rounds and brush lightly with olive oil.
  3. Grill apples 2–3 minutes per side until tender with grill marks.
  4. Remove apples from grill and arrange on serving plates.
  5. Drape prosciutto over warm grilled apples.
  6. Drizzle with honey and finish with herbs and black pepper.
  7. Serve immediately while warm.

Notes

Best served warm. Use firm apples for best texture.
