Ingredients
  

Soup Base
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh ginger sliced
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 1 lb chicken breast thinly sliced
  • 6 oz egg noodles
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp salt to taste
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Heat sesame oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add garlic and ginger, sauté gently until fragrant.
  3. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a gentle simmer.
  4. Add sliced chicken and cook until tender.
  5. Season with soy sauce, salt, and black pepper.
  6. Add noodles and cook until just tender.
  7. Adjust seasoning and remove from heat.
  8. Serve hot with green onions or sesame seeds.

Notes

For extra warmth, add chili oil or fresh chili slices before serving.
