Ingredients
  

Pasta & Chicken
  • 12 oz pasta penne or fettuccine
  • 1 lb chicken breast boneless, skinless
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
Sauce
  • 3 tbsp butter unsalted
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1.25 cups heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese freshly grated

Equipment

  • Large pot
  • Skillet
  • Wooden spoon
  • Knife and cutting board

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta until al dente. Reserve pasta water and drain.
  2. Season and cook chicken in olive oil until golden and cooked through. Slice and set aside.
  3. Melt butter in skillet, add garlic, and cook briefly until fragrant.
  4. Add broth and cream, simmer gently, then stir in parmesan.
  5. Combine pasta and chicken with sauce. Adjust consistency with pasta water.

Notes

Use freshly grated parmesan for best texture and flavor.
