Ingredients

Frozen Banana Snickers
  • 2 large bananas ripe but firm
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter creamy or crunchy
  • 1/3 cup caramel sauce store-bought or homemade
  • 1/3 cup roasted peanuts chopped
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil optional, for glossy chocolate

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Microwave-safe bowl

Method

  1. Peel bananas and slice into 1-inch rounds. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and freeze for 30–45 minutes.
  2. Mix peanut butter with vanilla extract. Add a teaspoon of water or coconut oil if needed to thin.
  3. Spread caramel sauce on each frozen banana slice and sprinkle chopped peanuts on top.
  4. Add a small dollop of peanut butter on each slice and spread into a thin layer.
  5. Freeze again for 15–20 minutes to set the layers.
  6. Melt chocolate chips in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Add coconut oil if using.
  7. Dip each banana slice in melted chocolate, covering the top, then place back on parchment paper.
  8. Freeze for 1–2 hours until completely firm. Serve directly from the freezer.

Notes

For best results, store in an airtight container in the freezer and allow to sit 2–3 minutes before eating.
