Ingredients
  

Strawberry Filling
  • 4 cups fresh strawberries hulled and sliced
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Cobbler Topping
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 0.25 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 0.5 cup milk

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Mix strawberries, sugar, lemon juice, cornstarch, vanilla, and salt. Spread into baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  4. Stir in melted butter and milk until just combined.
  5. Spoon topping evenly over strawberries.
  6. Bake 40–45 minutes until golden and bubbling.
  7. Cool slightly before serving.

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for best results.
