- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and butter a baking dish.
- Mix strawberries, sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice in a bowl.
- Transfer strawberry mixture to baking dish.
- Whisk flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in another bowl.
- Cut butter into dry ingredients until crumbly.
- Stir in milk just until combined.
- Drop topping over strawberries.
- Bake 40–45 minutes until golden and bubbly.
Notes
Best served warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
