Easy Gluten-Free Miso Soup

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups water or gluten-free dashi
  • 1.5 tbsp gluten-free miso paste white or yellow
  • 0.5 cup firm tofu cubed
  • 1 tbsp dried wakame
  • 1 tbsp green onions sliced

Equipment

  • Saucepan
  • Ladle
  • Small bowl

Method
 

  1. Bring water or gluten-free dashi to a gentle simmer.
  2. Add wakame and allow it to rehydrate.
  3. Gently add tofu cubes.
  4. Dissolve miso paste in a small bowl with warm broth.
  5. Stir miso mixture into soup and remove from heat.
  6. Garnish with green onions and serve.

Notes

Do not boil after adding miso to preserve flavor and probiotics.
