Easy Dump-and-Bake Fried Rice

A no-stir, oven-baked fried rice recipe made with uncooked rice, vegetables, and eggs for an easy, flavorful one-dish meal.

Ingredients
  

Rice Base
  • 2 cups long-grain white rice uncooked
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce optional
  • 2 tbsp butter melted
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup frozen peas and carrots
  • 3 eggs large

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Baking sheet
  • Wire rack
  • Hand mixer or stand mixer

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Add rice, broth, soy sauce, oyster sauce, butter, garlic, salt, and pepper to the dish and stir gently.
  3. Sprinkle frozen vegetables evenly over the rice mixture.
  4. Cover tightly with foil and bake for 40 minutes.
  5. Uncover, crack eggs over rice, stir gently, and return to oven.
  6. Bake uncovered for 10–15 minutes until eggs are cooked.

Notes

For extra flavor, add sesame oil or protein during the final bake.
