Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 2.25 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 2.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
Topping
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1.5 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 0.25 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 tbsp parsley chopped (optional)

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Baking sheet
  • Wire rack
  • Hand mixer or stand mixer

Method
 

  1. Activate yeast in warm water with sugar until frothy.
  2. Mix in flour, salt, and olive oil to form soft dough.
  3. Knead until smooth and elastic.
  4. Let dough rise 45–60 minutes until doubled.
  5. Roll into rectangle and place on baking sheet.
  6. Brush with garlic butter mixture.
  7. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan.
  8. Bake at 400°F for 15–18 minutes until golden and bubbly.

Notes

Best served warm with marinara dipping sauce.
