Ingredients
  

Wonton Bites
  • 24 wonton wrappers
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.33 cup fresh strawberries finely chopped
  • 1 egg beaten for sealing
  • 2 cups vegetable oil for frying
  • powdered sugar for garnish
  • strawberry or chocolate sauce optional drizzle

  • Deep frying pan or fryer

Method
 

  1. Beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  2. Fold in chopped strawberries.
  3. Place 1 teaspoon filling in center of each wonton wrapper.
  4. Brush edges with beaten egg and seal tightly.
  5. Heat oil to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Fry wontons in batches until golden brown, about 1–2 minutes per side.
  7. Drain on paper towels.
  8. Dust with powdered sugar and drizzle with sauce before serving.

Notes

Can be air fried or baked as a lighter option.
