Method
- Beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Fold in chopped strawberries.
- Place 1 teaspoon filling in center of each wonton wrapper.
- Brush edges with beaten egg and seal tightly.
- Heat oil to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry wontons in batches until golden brown, about 1–2 minutes per side.
- Drain on paper towels.
- Dust with powdered sugar and drizzle with sauce before serving.
Notes
Can be air fried or baked as a lighter option.
