Ingredients
  

Hot Chocolate Base
  • 4 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk 14 oz
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 0.25 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.25 tsp salt

Method
 

  1. Add milk and heavy cream to the slow cooker.
  2. Whisk in condensed milk, cocoa powder, chocolate chips, vanilla, and salt.
  3. Cover and cook on LOW for 2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes.
  4. Whisk until smooth and creamy before serving.
  5. Keep warm and serve with desired toppings.

Notes

Stir regularly to prevent chocolate from settling or scorching.
