Method
- Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the crock pot.
- Add diced onion, garlic, rice, salt, and pepper.
- Pour chicken broth over ingredients and add butter.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours or HIGH for 2–3 hours.
- Remove chicken, shred, and return to the crock pot.
- Stir in cream, cook 10–15 minutes, then serve.
Notes
For best texture, avoid opening the lid while cooking.
