Ingredients
  

Wings
  • 2 lbs chicken wings separated
  • 1 tbsp baking powder aluminum-free
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
BBQ Glaze
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line baking sheet with foil and place wire rack on top.
  2. Pat chicken wings completely dry with paper towels.
  3. Mix baking powder and seasonings in a bowl.
  4. Toss wings with olive oil and seasoning mixture until coated.
  5. Arrange wings on rack in single layer.
  6. Bake 40–45 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy.
  7. Warm BBQ sauce with honey if using.
  8. Brush wings with sauce and bake 8–10 minutes more until caramelized.

Notes

For extra crispy wings, refrigerate uncovered for several hours before baking.
